Uh huh…so you’ll defend Chrysalis, Tirek and Cozy to the same degree you defend Discord and Celestia then?
Yet again, their words are mostly meaningless when their actions have contradicted them and it took Twilight thinking she failed long after the fact to even make the attempt.

I think that’s the key, to show her that they won’t back down, that they really mean what they say.
