Continuing to eat the apple, Andrew felt the warmth begin to envelop his body, followed by a mild discomfort, centered around his feet. Absentmindedly, he began to shuck his boots, setting them to the side of the bench. The moment his foot was freed from the shoe, he felt instant relief, like he had been walking for days in ratty sneakers. He either didn’t notice or didn’t care that his feet had begun reforming into a pair of bright, orange, equine hooves, and was equally oblivious to his facial features beginning to soften, his ears elongating into similarly auburn horse ears. He began to blush, the mysterious warmth centering on his changing features. His trimmed, dark brown hair was now unkempt, and had lightened slightly. None of this alarmed him, if he even acknowledged it at all.
