General bio:
Arctic is the first born of Duchess Sparkle and Lady Glimmer and inherited their seriousness with very little fun. Arctic’s personality lives up to his name, he’s much too serious, callous, and cold or at best indifferent to those outside of his circle. He and Amethyst often rub each other the wrong way because Ammy calls him nearly emotionless and he scolds her for feeling and showing to much, too loudly. He knows that his mothers worry about his demeanor and lack of friends afraid he would end up like an unchanged Twilight, reclusive, or like an unreformed Starlight, down a dark path; but, so far he’s had no inclination for either.

He enjoys the cold of the Crystal Empire and after obtaining his law degree he moves there to begin his practice. Twilight and Starlight worry but trust Shining Armor and Sunburst to keep an eye on him. Like all the Sparkle children, he has times where he will lock himself away so he can get through a reading binge and doesn't want to be disturbed. Arctic has an endearing/annoyed relationship with his cousin Morning Star because she reminds him so much of Amethyst. He has learned how to defend himself after becoming one of the Country's best Prosecutor's he's ruthless and unyielding in court which has landed him on the hit list of some nastier citizens.
