I’d say it’s more of just a design thing, having shiny gold hooves makes her seem more royal and grand in comparison to Zipp who’s hooves look more silver maybe??
same color as her mane/tail?
it be great if they actually show her painting them, when the movie comes out in Netflix
if you mean horseshoes, i don’t know, they look more polished then actual shoes, besides even the soft part of her hooves like polished, plus if the shoes are made of metal (and gold is metal), she would likely scratch her phone’s screen.
