The weather failed to deliver the thunderstorms announced by the forcast that I hoped would provide a nice background for more images of Pipe Cleaner Spitfire. However in all truth it would have been rather lucky to get any good shot with a lightning happening to flash at exactly the right time and at exactly the right point.  
So, resigning to reality, I instead got some beautiful thunderstorm pictures, put them on a screen and set up pipe cleaner Spitfire in front.

There are some alternative versions taken with different lighting and camera settings. Since several more shots I took with various backgrounds and setups for the figure turned out nicely there will be a couple more Spitfire in a thunderstorm pictures.
