2 - Danny didn’t appear until the full-length movie the following year.
3 - The Moochick didn’t appear in this cartoon at all.
4 - Medley, along with about all of the ponies from that first cartoon, had vanished from the series.
Very Likely that it’s actually Danny, because this boy was also introduced in an alternate cover for Rescue at Midnight Castle.
Given his cowboy-esque look, it was probably a design that got cut for Danny. Maybe they were gonna introduce him in this special but chose to wait for the movie next year. He resembles Megan’s original design in the 1984 special here.
I think it was supposed to be Danny Williams. But I don’t know if Hasbro thought differently back then.
