That’s true, Twilight is eating unrecognizable clusters of white pixels that are suppose to be galaxies but it’s beyond comprehension.
 
Even now with Rainbow Dash it’s hard to actually understand the scale without something tangible in reality to imagine the scale against, for example: Rainbow Dash is roughly twice the size of the moon in this picture so imagine Rainbow Dash in place of the moon but twice as big. Another example: Everything you see on a trip from east to west coasts in the United States or Australia could fit on her back.
 
However, we can comprehend the relative size of objects to each other very easily so if Twilight and Rainbow Dash are both floating around in a sea of white dots but they have a size difference between each other then it should be enjoyable.

On last pic Twilight just eat whole galaxy. So calculate:  
Galaxy diameter - about 105 700 light years  
1 light year - about 9,5 * 10^{12 km
 
So galaxy diameter in km - 1 004 150 x 10}12km => ~ 1 * 10^18km
 
RD now is about 6750km so it’s about…. 6,7 * 10-13 % of the galaxy. And we need to remember we count up to titanic object that is…. easily eaten by unicorn. Thats mean if Ravi would like to challenge Twilight in next macro march, there should be much…. much….much bigger multiplier for all but still, there will by problem.  
also 2: I much more prefer “normal*” scale ponies. The bigger she get, more abstract she become for us.

Safety in numbers perhaps? The Empire has a lot of ships and worlds at their disposal (and perhaps their historic enemies would call truce in the face of a greater threat) but there’s only one Rainbow Dash.
 
With their greater numbers and only a single huge target that’s impossible to miss (even for stormtroopers) the Empires fleet might become a formidable foe for Rainbow Dash. They could lure her away from important worlds and into ambushes with decoy fleets, break up into several smaller fleets to flank her from all angles in or simply throw all their ships at her with focus fire in a battle of attrition.
 
Rainbow Dashes size is the only advantage she has but the more she grows the harder it will be to defeat her.

By the look of all the lava around her I don’t think they can even scorch her fur. I don’t know about pissing her off though. She’ll probably just laugh at their fruitless effort and find them cute.
