Description
It has been 5 years since I uploaded my first drawings as FetishSketches on Derpibooru and Tumblr (14/1/2016). It sure has been some time, and I’ve grown quite a lot since, both as a person and as an artist. As an anniversary thing, I decided to redraw one of my first ever uploads, as a comparison and progress showcase. So here is that pair of soft flutterfoots, drawn with my current experience and skill (and some extra effort), almost exactly as I envisioned them back then. Enjoy!

Thank you for the nice words υωυ I’ve worked on refining that sketchiness to a cleaner, more crisp style but I think it always remains at the core of my work. At times I get a bit upset about it but as you said, I believe it’s been a unique part of my art and suits what I draw. I’ll keep putting in the effort and time to further improve on it!
And I’m glad you saw an appeal to my earlier sketches. While they certainly weren’t perfect, they kinda had some sort of more “raw” unrefined appeal, that I’ve moved away from lately. Maybe it’s because I focus a lot more on coloring now than I do on sketching.
I’ll certainly keep it up, this year I think I’ve reached a point that drawing has become a lot more natural and enjoyable for me. So yeah, there’s certainly much more to come!
