“But I needed you. And you yearned for adventure.”
“Together, we fought the shadows, wherever they arose.”
“But you did so much more for me.”
“You showed me your world”
“You showed me Civilization.”
“Art and architecture, food and smells and foals playing in the streets.”
“A life outside the comfines of my temple.”
“If asked to compare worlds, of yours and of mine, I would not be able to.”
“I never saw the world outside my walls. So I can’t say what it was like. What I’d ‘lost’.”
“Strangely, I never felt like I lost anything, for I never knew that world.”
“Seeing your world, was to see the outside world for the first time.”
“I return I showed you what I knew. How to fight the shadows, and drive them from their hiding places.”
“I showed you how to make the glyphs, and the power that the symbols had.”
“Together we made plans, and put together clues, to locate their hidden tombs.”
“Together, we grew accostume to one another.”
“Learned to worked well as a team.”
“We never abused my shadow powers – at least, not more then we had to.”
“Sleeping was awkward at first, when you’re stuck together. But after a time, we came to more than accept each other’s company. ”
