The casual vs. the need-for-speed

This is me. All the time. This is literally me. And I am strangely okay with this.

just consider that portals are essentially wormholes of length 0, meaning that creating them requires an infinite amount of energy, so using portals to create perpetual motion and therefore infinite energy is pointless because you would already have infinite energy.  
on that note, spoiler: we’ll never be able to make portals that work like this irl, we could shorten the distance between 2 points in space, but not significantly, we’d have to be the next tier of civilisation before we even come close to doing it, it probably wont be very energy efficient either.

I think it an interesting question whether gravity could work through a portal in this set up, since the portal could represent a break in the force vector… ie how does it work from under the portal?

I’d hate to be in Celestia’s position right now.

It seems that speed of luna change direction without external force and Celestia is prpetual motion generator - she falls faster and faster because of gravity without depleting any energy source.
