And at one point video games themselves was considered a fad
Half-Life: Alyx did just happen, and even if some consider it objectively not as good as everyone else says it is, it’s still a pretty significant item.
@northern haste
There are people saying VR is some dying thing like it’s a fad. It’s VR. I think the opposite would happen.
But we can all agree that Joker is the most mentally scarred and the most famous one, right?
I think I need a lot of Batman villains actually suffer from mental problems. I believe both two-faced and Arnold Wesker/Scarface suffer from multiple personality disorder
Totally XD
I remember when “Joker” first came out and there were people walking out because “ThE mOvIE gOEs tOO dEeP iNTo mEnTAl hEaLTh”. If you wanted a movie without mental problems, then why on Earth would you go see the frickin’ Joker movie?!
@Machiavellian Mythos
Like many things the quality of motion control depends on the people making it. Also VR games having getting problem that in recent years and that’s basically motion control as well
I don’t get the drama over motion controls honestly, (especially to this day) as frankly Wii Sports bowling is the only bowling game I like, because emulating throwing a bowling ball with a remote is more fun then only pressing buttons.
I understand it’s not everybody’s cup of tea, but it’s not like Wario Land’s were that “complex.” All you do is shake the controller during a few moments, and frankly hardly any “motion” is required.
@Machiavellian Mythos
Considering how well the Wii, and many it’s games sold, the statistic probably isn’t that low.
And Wii-haters don’t give me that, “only old people, and babies bought a Wii” bull. I doubt retirement home people were playing “Super Mario Galaxy 2,” or “Donkey Kong Country Returns,” 2 games that were both million-sellers, and could kick many gamers’ butts.
Edited
But also, I’m like in the 0.26% of people who don’t dislike motion controls. And I 100%’d this game at least twice.
