I never said outright that it was a crime or evil or made you a gigantic piece of garbage, and any implications you draw from my previous comments are speculative. I merely expressed my disapproval at OP’s desire to bring back a(potentially) offensive character.

I didn’t know it was a crime against bronydom to enjoy seeing Derpy in the show and hope she might return.
Who cares? Too many, that’s who.
Evidently quite a few people care, as fifty more people signed in the past half hour.
She had a good run.
I think that would only have made things much much worse. Ditzy Doo was the less-preferred nickname before Derpygate, but now it is absolutely despised, and putting it in as a ‘replacement’ name would have been taken as an insult by a lot of people.
Maybe we should’ve called them “Save Ditzy-Doo.” (I kinda prefered that name personally.)
Maybe you should actually read what he says. He comes off as quite reasonable. Perhaps naive in expecting a petition to work at this point, but not deserving of scorn.
