That’s basically been my philosophy when I helped kick-started the whole eponavirus/Ponid-21 thing. The real virus itself is scary, my mom got hospitalized by it because she’s a nurse (thankfully, she’s getting better) and my sister’s sick with it now, too. I’ve been extremely lucky not to get sick with it, myself.
 
The Ponid-21 thing? It’s a fictional thing under control of whatever artist/writer is playing with it. There’s some kind of comfort/catharsis in that, one that doesn’t exist with the coronavirus. It’s not to make light of things, it’s meant for catharsis.

if you think this is new your wrong, i swear its like they were just WAITING for some kinda virus to hit to do this stuff in parody off, theres pics, fanfics and everything been going on almost since the whole thing started
