Got hit with inspiration from TF-Sential’s ponid-21 virus and I had to make my own. I also tried out a new shading style using the tutorial Ampderg made!
I don’t see how so.

Lots of diseases also have names based on their origin, in latin, or even named based on local deities in small areas in Spain and Eastern Europe. We still use them today.
I understand the logic, but you also mis-stepped with your own.
Yes, I know it comes from Epona, the goddess of equids and fertility. But a lot of people nowadays more closely associate the name with Link’s faithful steed, who was named after the aforementioned deity.
Check the origin if the name Epona.
