Good thing it’s just for fun and not a real game! :)
Then if you exile Gyro, he hasnt died, since he wouldnt hti the graveyard. That’d get around the same point there. However…it says destroyed there. That’s a miss on the wording for the same reason.

Ah, I see what you mean about the second line. I think it may be permissible to remove the “until Gyro leaves the battlefield” and add “When Gyro dies, if there is a sleep counter on him, return the exiled creature to the battlefield.”
The odd thing about using “overrun” is that that is an actual card name that gives all creatures you control +3/+3 and trample until end of turn.
Actually you miss some of the point on the 2nd line. It stays exiled if the sleep counters are not present when he’s removed from battlefield.
Its this conditional return that makes the wording a little messy.
Also, your sleep counter trigger prevents possible fuckyness with removing multiple sleep counters at once through some method or another.
It is trample, but BB is silly and wanted to use his own keywords.

“Flying
When Gyro, Indomitable Predator enters the battlefield, you may exile target creature until Gyro leaves the battlefield. If you do, put a number of sleep counters on Gyro equal to the exiled creature’s toughness.
At the beginning of each upkeep, remove a sleep counter. Whenever a sleep counter is removed this way, put a +1/+1 counter on Gyro.
If there is a sleep counter on Gyro, he can’t attack or block.
((I’m guessing on this last one)) If there are five or more +1/+1 counters on Gyro, he has trample.”
