Mulberry apologizes and says that she needs a second to get dressed and presentable.
“Oh! Yes, of course miss. Sorry to trouble you and all about this but it’s quite urgent.” She hears the voice says from the other side of the door.
The mare rushes over to the table with the crystal ball thing and moves the fog out of the way with her hoof. In the mini-Mournthread she sees two new dots standing where the two are outside currently. Curiously, it also looks like the three red dots that were at the Fishery have moved to the shoreline, but that’s something to wonder about later.
She makes her way back to Antoine’s flat, and without opening the door she asks who is calling.
“Mournthread City Guard, ma’am. I’m speaking to Ms. Mulberry correct? I apologize for visiting so late, but we had trouble finding you. We had heard you’d be staying with Gamble, and then we heard from the Inn you were staying there and… Well, I won’t bore you with the details” One of the large headed guards says chuckling. “Anyway, we heard you had a run in with Antoine and he tried to shoot you with a gun. One of my colleagues was also attacked when we tried to apprehend him. We’d like to ask some questions about your fiance, if that’s alright. May we come in?”
