“Political correctness” should be reserved as a descriptor for the petty, unreasonable policing of subtext. People objecting to open racism doesn’t fall under that banner.

I wish I could see your Point, but I got no strong Feelings in american slavery, I don´t even have strong Feelings for my own countrys bad history.
I guess that it kinda better, but honestly *shrug
I just meant that I can see why this is something people would feel strongly enough about for controversies to arise. Unlike the usual “Twilight wasn’t afraid of ladybugs in season 4, the show is now ruined forever” stuff I’m used to seeing.

The fandom controversy tends to be more about the abundance of pedos that get a free pass because people don’t like drama.
