This of course doesn’t always work. When my friend tried it on his kids, the bratty daughter went down early and saw the potato in her stocking. So she swapped the stockings around, and her near saintly youngest brother was heartbroken before the parents were even awake

a friend introduced me to a great concept for naughty kids on Christmas
first you introduce to them the idea that kids who are naughty all year only get a potato from Santa. Then you keep reminding them in the lead up to Christmas eve
If said kids have made no attempt to lift their game, replace all their presents with gift wrapped potatoes
And finally, watch the horror and remorse erupting from their faces the next morning

And then they must fight the villain that is SOCKS FOR CHRISTMAS!

The Horror! The Fear! The Pain of getting such lousy presents after waiting a whole month!

Will they survive? Will Sweetie’s boyfriend know about this? And, most importantly of all, will they be cute?(Most likely)
