I think you’re confused on which one of these two characters have reality-warping powers and which one doesn’t.
Yeah, seems possible.
Oh, now I get it.
Though to be fair, Chrysalis, Tirek and Cozy didn’t have their magic colours changed by absorbing Grogar’s magic, so I think the magic aura is dependent only on who exactly is casting it. This meant that even if none of Grogar’s magic was his own, it would still be in the same colour when he uses it.
Though to be fair, the bell was stated to need a spell to be activated, so maybe Grogar had some magic to begin with…but he likely got the rest of his power by stealing it from others, kinda like what Tirek and the Storm King did. We even saw an illustration in that book of Grogar becoming stronger by taking the magic of a unicorn, so that does seem to be his forte.
That his magic was other creatures magic.
You don’t think what? I’m not sure what you’re denying here since everything else you said was pretty much what I said.
I don’t think so, because if that were true, his magic would’ve looked different.
Also, I figured out how Grogar got defeated. He was about to use the bell, then Gusty took it and used the bell to take all of his magic, leaving him powerless and then banishing him. That’s how his magic was in the bell in the first place.
@Flufux
I doubt that, since the power-up the villains got when they took on his magic didn’t even come close to the same level of reality-warping and physics-breaking that Discord has…however, Grogar could gain the upper hand on Discord if he used his bell to steal his powers, as it was certainly capable of doing that.
Though given how his bell works, it’s entirely possible the original Grogar didn’t have any magic at all from the get go, and simply gained his powers by stealing the magic of other creatures.
Discord: what..? isn’t this chaotic?!!
twilight: NO this is just Greedy and AWFUL! there is no point in it anymore
Grogar: …kill me please…
