Ironically enough, that’s how things were post-relationship with my ex. We were like “hey, we’re gonna see each other regardless since we both take afternoon classes, so might as well make it fun instead of weird” and we went from pretending we didnt see each other, to being close friends.
We stopped being friends eventually, but for reasons completely unrelated to being each others ex.
