There are many things Spike likes about Twilight; she’s brave, determined, really really smart, (usually) kind… and very importantly, he never has to worry about what type of gift to get her! Though, considering their long lifespans, he may have to eventually worry about running out of books she hasn’t already read…
 

 
You guys wanna know something funny? In Sweden (and a few other places), Mother’s day is celebrated two weeks after when it’s celebrated in the USA (and a ton of other countries). This means, among other things, that every single freaking year I wake up, go onto the internet, see everyone’s mother’s day posts and spend some half-awake minutes in a panic because I forgot all about it. Only to remember it’s still two weeks away. Yes, I’m salty about it. How dare your calendars not match mine. Grump grump.
 
I can’t exactly give you back your own medicine, since you’re not likely to think you missed Mother’s day when you just celebrated it two weeks ago. I can at least draw and post something on my mother’s day, so have some Twilight and Spike feels. I know the show is currently leaning more towards a sister/brother relationship, but you will pry my mother/son heartcanons from my cold dead hands. I just think the dynamic would be really cute, okay
 
Anyway, Happy Mother’s day to Algeria, Cameroon, Dominican Republic, France, French Antilles, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco, Niger, Haiti, Mauritius, Senegal, Sweden and Tunisia (according to Wikipedia, the most trustworthy source there is). The rest of you can have a Happy normal day I guess.
