According to the subtitles, Twilight said that they needed more than a semester to learn about friendship, but in the episode 09 the school had been up for already 9 months. What do you think?

They aren’t graduating yet. They just thought they could since they saved the world with friendship like the Mane Six have, but Twilight told them they still have a lot more to learn. That’s why they all look disappointed, because they still need to go to school.
