Of course using “others do it too” as a justification for anything bad is moraly wrong, as is calling out others for doing something if they are themselves doing it. Whether you admit it or not doesn’t matter, what matters if they are doing it in the first place, and it doesn’t make it better or justify them to keep on doing it.

Sure, but when has “The other guy does it too!” ever lead to less, rather than more, of a double standard? I’d rather admit that bashing is as wrong when I do it as it is when I’m taking it. We’ll still have plenty left to argue about even after we get that one off the table.
Also, it means there’s more space on the table for food. I’m always up to make room for that.
It’s more about the whole double standard that bugs me. That the other extreme is ‘fine’ despite all their faults because they like everything about whatever subject matter and sometimes use that as a reason to bash people who don’t agree with them.

I’m sure it’s not what most detractors are going for, but it isn’t always easy to see a difference.
On the whole, I’d rather see people create bad art, if only because more art means more good art. One per cent of a million is better than ten per cent of a hundred.
Not sure saying they can do no wrong is inherently any better.
At least they don’t set the staff up to fail no matter what they do with her.

I was there, and I mean that overall the most fervent pro-glimmer fans aren’t nearly as holy or pure as they like to say, compared to their opposite numbers.

Actually, Apart from Twilight, the rest of the mane 6 are just “okay” with her; given that Starlight barely ever hang out with them and mind controlled them twice.
