Every once in a while, folks will give me an interesting comment that I feel would be best replied with the character themselves responding. And heres one such comment, from Azurllinate
 
Chocolate isn’t being literal here… this is just his way of making a joke. He’s just not that good at getting others to understand his ‘jokes’. His attempts at humor are his way to building bridges between his mother and him though he doesn’t seem to get why they don’t end with the person laughing. Most folks think he’s dead on serious due to his deadpan expression. He’s trying to be sarcastic in a way. He finds it hilarious but no one else ‘gets’ it.
 
As for Sweet, she and Chocolate go out for drinks often though chocolate is there to make sure she gets home safe. He isn’t allowed to drink cause according to Sweet Deal ‘You get crazy, scary sexy when you’re drunk, Sweet Pea. Mah heart can’t take all that… you’. Chocolate has no memory of the night before when drunk. Sweet is just a general clingy drunk but gets in trouble when caught by her mother.
