So, I’ve gotten an idea for a new MLP fanart-thing. I don’t think it’ll evolve into a full-blown comic or anything, but I’ll end up uploading scenes with fic and the like.
 
I have a few characters that are not from Equestria (named Marelan.) The rest of the characters are all next-gen.

Parents: Fleetfoot (M) and Sorain (F)  
Species: Pegasus  
Special Talent: Flying  
Occupation: Wonderbolts Reserves
 
Background: Fleetfeather befriended Firespin as a foal, and the two were often mistaken for sisters for their similarities in personality. She was rather bitter about living in Firespin’s shadow, however, and this made her all the more determined to prove herself. She was not born with as much natural talent as her best friend, and so she spent a lot of time practicing and studying.
 
Personality: Can be hard-headed and stubborn, but is also generally the voice of reason when it comes to Firespin. She can be a bit standoffish and defensive, as she always feels second-best to Firespin.
