So I’ve gotten an idea for a new MLP fanart-thing. I don’t think it’ll evolve into a full-blown comic or anything but I’ll end up uploading scenes with fic and the like.I have a few characters that are not from Equestria (named Marelan.) The rest of the characters are all next-gen.

Parents: Sapphire Shores (M) and Undertone (F)  
Species: Earth Pony  
Special Talent: Singing  
Occupation: Pop star
 
Background: Jade wasn’t really planned by either of her parents; in fact Sapphire and Undertone’s relationship was incredibly casual. Undertone did not stick around and so Jade grew up without a father. She was also raised a lot by nannies though Sapphire made sure to take her on tours with her so that they could always spend time together. Jade was given vocal and dance lessons at a young age and became a sensation as a teen.
 
Personality: Diva but not in a rude demanding way. She just likes glitz and glamour. She has a hard time emotionally connecting to people especially since she was used a lot as a teen for her fame.
 
Other Notes:
 
Her voice is similar to Beyonce’s.
