But he’s a good guy at heart, and try’s his best to stay optimistic and true to himself through-and-through, not letting things like being outcast-ed by others , bother him or make him change his overall views. At times enjoying the solitude. He doesn’t try hard to please others or show the other ponies what kind of pony he is, but just goes about doing his thing, helping others when he can. Amity when younger, usually was being overly protected by his father, scolded for wondering, or overly critical about Amity’s decisions, to some extent even deciding most of the time for him. His mother being strongly affectionate, not a moment where she wasn’t hugging him or brushing his hair. At times excessively worrying about Amity, maybe not as strict as Discord when showing it, but the constant worry tends to make her ill’, and either Amity or Discord reassuring and comforting her every time this happens. With this all involved in his life, Amity eventually developed a small rebellious side, on some days and nights, sneaking away from his parents to spend time on his own. He’s also developed a bit of a dislike for hugs, and some forms of physical contact. But of course, not all.Things he’s found of, are his main, cause of how well his mother keeps it groomed and long. Smells of freshly baked bread whenever he walks in town. Birds. When he’s around his mother, they tend to sometimes be around, so he’s grown a close liking to them. Amity’s type, is usually someone who’s witty, quick with words, at times cocky, and can be relaxed and cut-loose in a pinch. Most of the traits he’s found of, can be found in his father, Discord. Amity is drawn to these traits because of how often his father would boast about being “ideal” person and what everyone should work up to become, Supreme in every manner as he would say lol. He works well with his magic, and try’s hard to live up to Discords “made” expectations of magic wielding.
