Good point. Hey! Silfoes should do something about that on the Tumblr! A story arc about extremists freaking out over the the Dick Spell. Not just males fearing obsolescence, but religious types as well. Hell, maybe even a few hardcore lesbians who hate the idea of filthy “breeders” joining their ranks (much like how real life pan and bi folk get shat on by lesbians and gays).
Also, we just spent half a page arguing over the effects of a Dick Spell on the world of a My Little Pony cartoon.

Uh… I wasn’t really talking about Pony tolerance, but real world science that is often denied by Tumblr.
Eeesh, I said “gently”… who says Memory spells are not a thing?
And I don’t think there’s a problem with tolerance in Equestria.
Except for a few token antagonistic representations of the usual problems that serve as a lesson for little kids
(the targeted audience), Equestria is quite open about everything.
That is, not to say, it’s not without colorations - just simply because it’s, well, written by humans.
So we have such inconsistencies as singular marriage in a civilisation that has herding roots.
Or perhaps the infamous door handles, made for limbs with multiple digits and opposable thumbs.
(Though this can be explained by gryphon and/or minotaur influence)
That and a plethora of other concepts give birth to the multitude of headcanons, whether they good
(like Sketchbook) or bad (Molestia, as an example).
… And Twilight gets to live because of nepotism.
But really, heterosexuality would ensure Stallions continued existance. We don’t live in a tumblr world where everyone is a repressed Pansexual who only believe differently because of the Patriarchy(TM).
And maybe it was invented. Perhaps many times.
But each inventor came to the terrifying conclusion that the spell must not be known by the general public.
Why? Well, it’d make the already limited amount of stallions… redundant. There would be riots.
So yeah, either they realised it themselves or Celestia… gently silenced them.
Which doesn’t make a lot of sense. I mean come on! We all know a “grow a dick” spell would be one of the first spells ever invented!

In this canon, the spell didn’t exist.
How ever, Twilight is very persistent when she wants something. And she really, really wanted biological foals with Luna. So, she created a spell.
Mind you, this is from The Other Sketchbook, meaning it’s way down the timeline.

This is universe with “Spell doesn’t exist yet” in the main blog and this is the future where Twi developed the spell.
Must have been the other one, for this one, spells that let two women make a baby are a thing I’m pretty sure.
