Ah, I see. The first rectangle overlays the entire panel and continues on from there, meaning it’s not actually representing anything in particular, just the borders of the screencap itself. lol
“Life has many Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, Spin boys!”
It wouldn’t help :(
Rule #0 m8, perhaps you should read the rules again.
The golden ratio appears fucking everywhere in nature, so it’s going to pop up a lot. Even more often if you’re trying to pull it out of thin air like that.
The Golden Rectangle actually fits certain objects in those images. They just envelope areas outside those objects for no reason. :j
..that’s not how it works.
Well, it worked. My focus was primarily on Starlight through this whole sequence.
your post gave Gyro a spingasm.
Neat.
It’s a composition trick used in scenes sometimes, where the elements in an image are supposed to direct the eye, it’s done with the edges, contours and other elements like texture or features like eyes, hands and whatever pointing in particular directions. Sometimes in a scene it can be done in the pattern of a fibonacci spiral. You can see Twilight’s body curve and her horn points towards Starlights lower half, and from there Starlights tail curves up into her body, the curve follows up her back and to her head where you sort of focus on her face, and her horn and eyes point you back to Twilight.
It’s just subjective art theory stuff- basically a composition found in alot of renaissance art - it loosely follows a fibonacci spiral- a shape that’s pleasing to the eye.
Look up the Fibinacci Spiral.
